ICICI InstaBiz App to faciliates MSMEs

New Delhi, July 18 (KNN) The private sector lender ICICI Bank has announced the launch of ‘InstaBIZ’, a new digital platform for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) and self-employed customers.

Finance Minister chairs the 20th meeting on FSDC


Economy News | The 20th meeting on Financial Stability and Development Council (FSDC) was held under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.



Meeting reviewed the current global and domestic economic situation and financial stability issues including, inter-alia.

The Council was also apprised of the progress made towards setting-up of the Financial Data Management Centre (FDMC) to facilitate integrated data aggregation and analysis as also a Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-Fin) towards strengthening the cyber security framework for the financial sector.

Commerce Min urges small traders & retailers to come on the GeM platform

MSME News |  Union Minister of Commerce and Industry & Railways, Piyush Goyal urged small traders and retailers to come on the GeM platform which has achieved Rs 25,000 crore turn over.

In a meeting with representatives of associations of kirana stores, traders and retailers here, he said “Government of India will give all support and assistance to small traders and retailers to grow their business.”



India will not allow multi-brand retail by foreign companies and on the pretext of B2B no entry will be allowed for multi-brand retail, he added.

Organize International SME Convention on June 28-29 in New Delhi

International SME Convention is the foremost International platform for discussing & sharing best practices for enterprise development, facilitating business discussion and encouraging trade partnerships by and between innovative, progressive and sustainable small and medium enterprises, from all over the world.

The last edition held in Delhi in the month of April 2018 had 35 International trade development organizations, 160 entrepreneurs and 27 experts from 39 countries, in the three day event where issues of international best practices on SME development and cooperation, global business opportunities for SMEs & problems faced by women entrepreneurs were among the topics discussed.
